Axe throwing works perfectly as the early afternoon activity that sets the energy for the whole day. Our recommended format:

Easy meeting point. Mimosas optional but encouraged.

60 minutes of absolute chaos — practice, games, and a final competition.

HEN DO FAQs
Do we need any experience?
No. Every session is designed from scratch for complete beginners. Your instructor teaches the technique to every person individually — nobody arrives knowing what they're doing, and that's exactly the point.
Can we bring sashes, banners or decorations?
Contact info@axeperience.co.uk before your session to discuss arrangements — we're happy to accommodate within reason.
What about the bride's veil — is that OK to wear?
Yes, as long as it doesn't interfere with throwing. A veil that can be pinned up or temporarily removed for throws is fine. Tied-back hair is required for everyone in the lane.
How far in advance should we book?
4–6 weeks minimum for weekend dates. Hen do peak season runs May–September — for summer Saturdays we recommend booking 8 weeks ahead.
What if someone in the group has an injury?
They can still come and watch from the lane. Let us know in advance at info@axeperience.co.uk and we'll make sure the experience works for the whole group.
