We’ve hosted thousands of stag parties across our London and Birmingham venues. The format is tried, tested, and consistently delivers the moments that define a stag do: the unexpected champion, the competitive showdown in the final round, and the story everyone’s still telling six months later.

Most stag do activities have a built-in problem: they favour someone in the group. The competitive sport is dominated by whoever played it at university. The escape room is cracked by the one person who does them every month. The go-karting is owned by the one bloke who actually races.
Axe throwing starts everyone at zero. Nobody has thrown a competition axe before. The technique takes minutes to learn and weeks to master — which means in your 60-minute session, anyone in the group can win. That dynamic is what makes it work.

Axe throwing works brilliantly as the anchor activity around which you build the rest of the day. Most stag groups follow this format:

STAG DO FAQs
How far in advance should we book?
4–6 weeks minimum for weekend dates. Peak stag season (May–September) books out early — we recommend booking 8 weeks ahead for summer Saturdays.
What if someone in the group can't throw due to an injury?
They can still come and watch from the lane. Contact us before your session and we'll accommodate any specific requirements.
Can we bring decorations, a cake, or a banner?
Contact info@axeperience.co.uk to discuss arrangements before your session — we're happy to accommodate within reason.
Is there a minimum group size?
No minimum. We accommodate groups of 2 upwards. For smaller groups, the Social Lane is the most cost-effective option.
Are there any age restrictions?
Axeperience is strictly 18+. No exceptions, even with parental consent. ID may be checked on arrival.
